Artist Statement: "When I was five years and living in Hastings on Hudson, New York, I climbed a cherry tree in my backyard one day and saw two red clay tennis courts. Since then, I have been passionately interested in exploring the visual relationships of color, form, and the grid structure of tennis courts. Patterns of color, movement, power, quietness, and explosion are all chronicled in any given painting.
Grid and Grit; color and movement; tennis and art."
